Nine members of a fringe Christian militia group (the group’s web site states that Hutaree means “Christian warrior”) based in Michigan. The group has been indicted on 5 counts including attempted use of weapons of mass destruction. Their plan was to murder a police officer, then attack the funeral party with explosives and other weapns. Again, according to the group’s web site, they are “Preparing for the end time battles to keep the testimony of Jesus Christ alive”. No one was injured (at least in regards to this plan).Friday, April 2, 2010
