The D-List: February Week 4

Baset Chaundry - Trinity College squash athlete. For his awesome super-taunt after securing the squash national championship over Yale.

Scott Disick - is the boyfriend of one of the Kardashian sisters. He does not have a job and completely mooches off of the family, dresses and acts like a complete D-Bag, and thinks he is tough when he is actually skinnier than Scott and Jess. On the last episode after getting drunk he shows up to the family dinner and gets cut off from the alcohol. He then gets in the waiter’s face (who is a homosexual and talking shit back to Scott with a lisp) and tries to force the guy to get him a drink. The waiter refuses and then Scott takes out a hundred dollar bill and shoves it down the guy’s throat.

Oregon Ducks Football Program - 4 arrests in the past month, multiple players get into a fight at a frat party, 2 players accused of hitting women (star RB LaMichael James being one of them), Orgeon LB Kiko Alonso suspended after DUI, Oregon WR Jamere Holland was dismissed from the team after openly opposing Alonso’s suspension on Facebook.

Steve Williams, Tiger’s Caddy - Has openly said that he’ll “club hecklers” who choose to hassle Tiger on the course when he comes back.

Tiger Woods - Long drawn out, controlled, scripted, insincere apology speech stemming from his many infidelities which include anything from models and socialites to Perkin’s waitresses. Hand selected those in attendance, didn’t take questions, appears as though hair line has receded considerably due to the stress of it all.

Vancouver Olympic Committee - For their many troubles/blunders with the winter games. Lugers death – no they couldn’t control the luger, but they didn’t need to place the blame solely on the luger himself then at the same time add the padding and wall to the location of the wreck and move the start line to the women’s start to reduce the speeds at which the lugers were travelling. Torch lighting fiasco – during the opening ceremonies the 4 torch lighters stood motionless for minutes waiting for the pillars to rise from the ground. Only 3 of the 4 pillars eventually emerged leaving one of the torch lighters out of the action. Olympic Cauldron placement - The organizing committee received a "flood of complaints" about positioning the Olympic cauldron "behind an ugly wire fence,". Authorities have since created an "eye-level gap" in the barrier — but observers wonder why even this make-shift solution "took so long." Snow Troubles – No the people of Vancouver can’t control the weather, but they could’ve at least played the odds..you can fault them for tempting fate by situating so many events at low-altitude Cypress Mountain, where snow conditions are always very spotty. Bus Troubles – Buses carrying the Canadian women’s moguls team broke down twice, in addition to many other public transportation breakdowns. The Vancouver Olympic Committee was forced to bring in 99 new buses after finding the original buses to be incapable of performing adequately. Eco-Zambonis - An experiment with "green" ice-smoothing equipment proved disasterous when three of the exhaustless machines conked out in the middle of speed skating competition. With athletes reaching speeds of 40 mph on the ice, the uneven surface was deemed too dangerous to go forward. As a result the good ol’ Zambonis had to be rushed in from Calgary 700 miles away. Timing Problems – In both pursuit races there was a mix-up in the starter lanes. In the women’s race, three athletes were sent out late. In the men’s race, three went out early.

Elija Fields - The safety/linebacker was kicked off the team for unconfirmed disciplinary reasons. Apparently it stems from some online social networking blunders. A quick look at Fields' Twitpic page may offers a clue as to why. Back on Feb. 2, he posted some extremely incriminating photos of a ginormous pile of cash, including one with a comment saying , "Never knew Football was gon get me all this money Sike I Knew haha.”

Evgeni Plushenko -For his numerous whinny remarks about not winning the gold medal in figure skating, and also for being almost as delusional as Cubs fans who think "it's gonna happen". On his personal website, he awarded himself the "Platinum Medal" for men's figure skating.
