D-Controversy: You be the judge

By Chuck McNewsman

Baset Chaundhry was elected as D-Case of the Week for the final week of February for his awesome super-taunt in the midst of celebrating his victory over Yale's Kenneth Chan that sealed the Squash National Championship for Trinity College, however his selection has come under much controversy following the discovery of some important evidence. Chaundhry's actions in the second video shown below are definitely d-worthy when viewed in a vacuum, but the discovery of action from earlier in the same match by Chan (seen in the first video) has caused a movement to renege Chaundhry’s election as the D-Case of the Week. Early opinions expressed from the D-Council pointed towards repealing Chaundhry’s election and placing the title on second place vote getter Scott Disick who has a strong d-record himself. However opposing views have brought to light the potential dangers of revoking D-Titles. An official ruling has not been made due to objections from the D-Council and where things will end up can not be determined at this time. One thing has been made clear amidst all of the d-turmoil, the D-Council will need to form clear and concise bylaws that will govern d-procedures such as these in the future in order to preserve the sanctity of the mission to raise douche awareness everywhere.
